Renzo Saravia has arrived in Valencia to finalise a free move to the club, with a medical set for Monday and a deal until 30 June 2026 if all goes to plan, according to Superdeporte.

The right back reached the city early in the afternoon on the AVE from Madrid, where he spoke to reporters.

He comes to bolster a depleted right flank, with Dimitri Foulquier sidelined by knee surgery until next season and Thierry Correia managing muscle issues this campaign.

On arrival he expressed delight at the challenge, said he wants to make himself available quickly, and called Valencia a beautiful city and the club a big one.

Fitness has been a talking point, as he has not featured since December 2025 and left Atlético Mineiro in January. He insisted he has been training in Argentina and is ready to compete when the coach decides.

He is due to attend Sunday’s derby at Villarreal, at La Cerámica, to start integrating, then, subject to passing his checks and signing, join the group. He prefers to focus on the present, aiming to perform well and leave a good impression.
