Ebrima Tunkara is one of La Masia’s biggest talents and is currently completing preseason training with the FC Barcelona first team.

Despite his young age, the Blaugrana are convinced that his potential could make him one of the young players capable of defining an era.

Europe’s biggest clubs watching

Despite being only 16, Tunkara’s technical and physical qualities have attracted attention across the football world.

Indeed, as per Mundo Deportivo, several of Europe’s biggest clubs have already shown an interest in his situation and are trying to convince the player and his family to leave Barcelona.

However, Tunkara, who joined La Masia in the summer of 2021, is determined to succeed at Barça.

Shortly after turning 16, he chose Pini Zahavi as his agent, aware that reaching the highest level in football requires surrounding yourself with the best people both on and off the pitch.

Despite the attention surrounding him, the teenager, who was born in Gambia and has also impressed with Spain’s U-17 team after making his Barça Atletic debut at just 15, is currently living a dream by training under Hansi Flick during pre-season.

The German tactician is delighted with his work and is closely monitoring his development.

And Tunkara’s next objective is to convince Flick to let him train with the first team as often aspossible, allowing him to continue developing at an exceptional pace.

He knows that working alongside the club’s biggest talents will raise the demands placed on him and bring his dream of succeeding with the first team closer.

Although he is only 16, Tunkara already has a remarkably developed physique. He stands out for his physical power, as well as his technical quality and natural ability to find the net.

He can play both as a central midfielder and as an attacking midfielder, while he has also been tried as a false-nine by Flick during pre-season, giving him another dimension as he continues his development at Barça.

Given his talent and unlimited potential, it is only natural for top clubs to take an interest, but Tunkara has only eyes for Barcelona.
