According to SPORT, Barcelona are increasingly excited about what they describe as the “Rashford bargain.”

It must be noted that Barcelona could sign the English forward permanently for a fee of around €30 million, a figure that is considered a major opportunity given his recent form.

So far, Rashford has impressed the coaching staff and management with his attitude and performances, having scored three goals and five assists.

As such, the player himself is understood to be very happy in Barcelona and does not wish to return to Manchester United.

Barça weighing options

For what it is worth, club officials are not rushing into a decision.

The non-mandatory purchase clause included in his loan deal is valued between €30 and €35 million, but as Deco has reiterated in several interviews, Barcelona will not initiate talks with Manchester United until they are completely certain about their plans.

For now, they want to monitor Rashford’s consistency over the coming months before committing to a permanent move.

At present, Barcelona are keeping all possibilities open. The board is not ruling out extending Rashford’s loan or negotiating better terms for a future transfer.

His professionalism and quick adaptation to the squad have left a strong impression on the coaching staff, and internally, there is a growing belief that he could become a valuable long-term addition.

Mutual feelings

From Rashford’s side, the feeling is mutual. The forward is said to be enjoying life in Catalonia and is determined to convince the club that he deserves to stay.

It is important to note that Rashford remains under contract with Manchester United until June 2028.

If a permanent move does materialise, the player would need to make financial adjustments to align with Barcelona’s salary structure.

For now, though, the focus is on maintaining his strong performances and proving he belongs at the Spotify Camp Nou, with both clubs watching developments closely.
