Club Brugge are reportedly not keen in inserting a buyback clause in a deal for Inter Milan midfielder Aleksandar Stankovic.
This according to Belgian outlet Niewublad, via FCInterNews.
Inter Milan midfielder Aleksandar Stankovic spent the last season on loan with Swiss club Luzern.
The 19-year-old has enjoyed an outstanding campaign. So much so that he has even been tipped to win the midfielder of the year award for the Swiss Super League.
Luzern had a purchase option on Aleksandar Stankovic. They can sign the Serb on a permanent basis for a fee of €1.5 million.
However, Inter in turn had a buyback clause, and can bring Stankovic back immediately.
Belgian giants Club Brugge have shown a strong interest in Aleksandar Stankovic’s signature.
However, according to Belgian outlet Nieuwblad, there would still be a long way to go in negotiations with Inter.
Moreover, the Belgian outlet anticipates, there would be a major stumbling block in talks.
Inter’s asking price of €10 million for Stankovic is not a problem, reports Nieuwblad.
However, the Nerazzurri also want a buyback option on Stankovic.
However, the outlet anticipate, Brugge would not want to allow Inter the opportunity to sign Stankovic right back.
