Report: David halts Juventus pursuit of Zirkzee, Pellegrino and Vlahovic | OneFootball

Juventus are expected to sign another centre forward after Randal Kolo Muani, but according to Gazzetta, the Bianconeri must first offload Jonathan David and then continue pursuing Joshua Zirkzee, Mateo Pellegrino, and even their ex-star Dusan Vlahovic.

Juventus are looking for even more attacking reinforcements after securing a deal with PSG for Kolo Muani, who is expected to land in Turin in the coming days.

Juventus want another centre-forward after Kolo Muani

According to Gazzetta, coach Luciano Spalletti hopes to welcome another centre-forward and currently, Manchester United’s Zirkzee tops the Bianconeri’s list.

According to the report, there have already been positive contacts between Juventus and Zirkzee’s entourage.

The Serie A giants have also held talks with Parma for Pellegrino, and Spalletti still hopes to bring Vlahovic back after the Serbian star left the club at the end of his contract this past June.

Gazzetta claims that Spalletti and Vlahovic are still in contact.

There’s no doubt that Juventus are planning to sign one more centre-forward after Kolo Muani, but any future move depends on Canada international David.

David unwilling to leave Juventus

The ex-Lille star has just begun pre-season preparations with the Old Lady, and even if Juventus are open to offers for him, David seems eager to remain in Turin and fight for a starting spot in 2026-27.

The Canadian striker moved to the Allianz Stadium on a free transfer a year ago and is among the highest earners at Juventus with a €6m-a-year salary.

Juventus are also close to signing Bosnia and Herzegovina starlet Kerim Alajbegovic from Bayer Leverkusen.
