Inter Milan superstar Marcus Thuram reportedly no longer has a guaranteed starting berth at San Siro.
According to Corriere dello Sport via FCInterNews, the Frenchman has slipped down the pecking order.
Marcus Thuram hit the ground running from the day he swapped Borussia Monchengladbach for Inter two years ago.
Indeed, he helped the Nerazzurri win the Scudetto in his first season in Serie A.
Furthermore, he enjoyed a stellar start to the 2024/25 campaign before recurring fitness problems curtailed his momentum.

Thuram’s performances dipped in the second half of last season.
Moreover, Inter have signed Ange-Yoan Bonny from Parma this summer to increase competition for places in attack.
With Cristian Chivu set to change Inter’s formation from a 3-5-2 to a 3-4-2-1, Thuram’s spot is no longer secure.
Indeed, the Frenchman has not been in ideal physical condition during Inter’s pre-season preparations.
Therefore, Chivu currently views Bonny as a more suitable partner for Lautaro Martinez.
However, Thuram has more than enough time to get back on track and reclaim his spot in the starting XI.
