Thuram will not be at Chivu’s disposal for tonight’s home match against Serie A underachievers Fiorentina.

However, he has been working separately from the group for the past few days.

As such, he is on the cusp of resuming full training.

Furthermore, the 28-year-old could be in contention for the squad when Inter take on Verona on Sunday.

Then, Thuram could feature for Inter in the upcoming Champions League clash against Kairat Almaty.

Meanwhile, it’ll be up to Ange-Yoan Bonny and Francesco Pio Esposito to fill the vacancy.
