Serie A pacesetters Inter Milan are reportedly reluctant to drop interest in Como starlet Nico Paz despite Real Madrid’s buy-back clause.
According to Tuttosport via FCInterNews, the San Siro giants are still ‘dreaming’ of luring the 21-year-old to the club this summer.
Real Madrid sold Nico Paz to Como in the summer of 2024 for a reported fee of just €7 million.
However, aware of the 21-year-old’s burgeoning talent, Los Blancos included a favorable buy-back clause in their deal with Como.
Therefore, they can re-sign the prodigious forward this summer for only €10 million.
Given Paz’s meteoric rise at Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia, it’s difficult to expect the Spaniards to let him go without a fight.
With ten goals and six assists, Paz has been the cornerstone of Como’s outstanding success in Serie A this season.
Indeed, he is one of the main reasons why Cesc Fabregas could help the Lariani secure Champions League qualification against the odds.
Meanwhile, his scintillating form has seen his market value skyrocket.
Currently valued at around €70 million, Paz is one of the world’s brightest prospects.
As such, Real Madrid are likely to bring him back to the Santiago Bernabeu at the end of the season.
On the other hand, Inter may have to break the bank if they’re to take him away from Spain’s capital.
