Elia Caprile has emerged as one of the likeliest candidates to replace veteran goalkeeper Yann Sommer at San Siro.

Indeed, Inter will sever ties with the Swiss star at the end of the season.

Therefore, they’ve identified several potential replacements, including the Cagliari stopper.

Caprile was outstanding in that match, making numerous vital stops to help Cagliari leave Udine undefeated.

Meanwhile, Oumar Solet was superb for Kosta Runjaic’s side, denying the Sardinians many goalscoring chances.

Soulet has been on Inter’s radar since the mid stage of last season.

However, the Nerazzurri refused to accelerate their interest in the French defender during the summer transfer window.

With Francesco Acerbi and Stefan de Vrij now set to leave San Siro, Inter may intensify their pursuit in the former RB Salzburg ace.
