Inter Milan are desperate to cash in on Kristjan Asllani this summer, but their plan to sell the Albanian has one major flaw.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInter1908, the player’s high price tag has scared off potential suitors.

In addition to Mehdi Taremi, Inter are eager to offload the 23-year-old midfielder in the coming weeks.

However, while the Iranian’s exit should go smoothly, the Nerazzurri are struggling to drum up interest in Kristjan Asllani.

Despite ruling him out of their plans for next season, Inter are reluctant to let Asllani go cheaply.

Indeed, they’ve slapped a substantial €18 million price tag on their outcast.

In today’s climate of inflated market prices, that’s not a lucrative demand.

Yet, Asllani has been on the fringes at San Siro over the past three years.

Therefore, clubs are not exactly enthusiastic about meeting Inter’s request.
