Gian Piero Gasperini is still hoping to bring in another winger before the close of the summer transfer window on Tuesday evening, and the latest reports in Italy claim that Roma now have an agreement in place with VfB Stuttgart for Germany international Jamie Leweling.
Multiple outlets in Italy are reporting that both Leweling and Zenit St Petersburg’s Luiz Henrique are strong options for the Giallorossi in the final hours of the summer transfer window.
Transfer expert Alfredo Pedullà is reporting that there is already a ‘total agreement’ in place between Roma and Stuttgart for Leweling and that the Bundesliga side have sanctioned the German’s sale.

Luiz Henrique reportedly remains a possibility, but given that there talks with Zenit appear to have slowed down over the last few hours whilst negotiations with Stuttgart have advanced, Leweling is looking an increasingly likely option for the Giallorossi.
Reports elsewhere indicate that Roma have been attempting to secure a loan deal with a potential obligation to buy Leweling for a package in the region of €35m-€40m.
