Yann Sommer will not be part of the Inter Milan squad next season, with the club set to let his contract run out.
Speaking to Blue Sport via FCInter1908, former Croatia international Mladen Petric confirmed that the 37-year-old will not stay at San Siro.
Beppe Marotta is already in the market for potential replacements.
Indeed, the runaway Serie A leaders have decided not to renew the veteran’s expiring contract.
Therefore, Yann Sommer will have to find a new club in the summer.
Meanwhile, Inter have identified several candidates to fill the void.

Tottenham Hotspur star Guglielmo Vicario has emerged as the frontrunner to replace the former Bayern Munich stopper.
However, the Nerazzurri are keeping close tabs on several other options.
Freiburg’s Noah Atubolu, Cagliari’s Elia Caprile, and Sporting Braga’s Lukas Hornicek are all on Marotta’s shortlist.
As for Sommer, he has no intention of hanging up his boots, though it’s uncertain whether he could go.
“I can imagine that it was his last Champions League match,” Petric said. “It probably won’t be enough for him to find a top-level club, given his age.
“I don’t think he’ll move elsewhere just to play in the Champions League again. That’s why it’s very likely that it was his last match.”
