Interest in emerging talents has become one of football’s most reliable currencies. A promising winger lights up a smaller league, scouts gather quietly in the stands, and suddenly Europe’s elite hover around a name that previously sat beyond mainstream conversation. According to reporting credited to TEAMtalk, Chilean winger Dario Osorio is the latest player to attract that familiar swirl of attention.
Currently starring for FC Midtjylland, the 22 year old has caught the eye of several major clubs, including Arsenal FC, Liverpool FC and FC Bayern Munich. Yet the most realistic destination may lie a little further down the Premier League table.
Osorio’s development since arriving from Universidad de Chile in 2023 has been steady and impressive. Signed for roughly €5.2 million, the winger has grown into a central attacking figure in Denmark. His progress was recognised earlier this year when Midtjylland rewarded him with a new contract that runs until June 2030.
As TEAMtalk report, “The talented 22-year-old Chilean right winger continues to attract attention from across Europe while plying his trade at Midtjylland.” That attention reflects both his performances and his profile. Osorio’s pace, left footed delivery, and instinct for drifting inside from the right flank have made him a disruptive presence against organised defences.
His value has risen accordingly. “His market value now stands at approximately €14m (£12m), reflecting his consistent performances, including notable contributions in both domestic and European competitions.”
Interest from the biggest clubs in Europe always adds intrigue to any transfer story. Scouts representing Liverpool, Arsenal, Bayern Munich and even Borussia Dortmund have reportedly attended matches to assess the winger’s development.
Yet observation does not always lead to action. According to TEAMtalk, “Despite links to some of the continent’s elite clubs and confirmed interest from the likes of Liverpool, Arsenal, Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund, such interest appears to remain at the monitoring stage.”

For clubs of that stature, Osorio may represent a longer term project rather than an immediate solution. The strategy of watching closely, waiting patiently, and acting only when circumstances align is familiar in modern recruitment.
While elite sides continue to assess the situation, several Premier League clubs appear more ready to move.
West Ham United stand out among the interested parties. TEAMtalk state that “West Ham have a history of tracking the player, with sources confirming attendance at games and earlier links during previous windows.”
Clubs such as Fulham FC and AFC Bournemouth are also credited with strong interest. Bournemouth’s recruitment model, built on identifying energetic and technically sharp attackers, reportedly views Osorio as a natural fit.
From Midtjylland’s perspective, a sale may eventually suit all sides. The Danish club has long built a reputation for identifying talent early and selling at the right moment. A significant transfer fee would represent another success story in that model.
For Osorio himself, the decision may ultimately come down to opportunity. A move to a Champions League contender carries prestige, yet a step to a club where regular football is guaranteed could prove far more valuable at this stage.
TEAMtalk suggest that “a move to a club like West Ham, Fulham or Bournemouth seems the most plausible path forward in his career.”
In modern football’s layered transfer ecosystem, the route to the top often begins in precisely that way.
From a West Ham supporter’s perspective, this report raises a fascinating possibility. The club has spent several seasons attempting to balance experience with emerging attacking talent. A player like Dario Osorio fits neatly into that ambition.
What stands out most is his profile. Quick, creative, and comfortable cutting in from the right, Osorio could offer West Ham a different attacking dynamic. Supporters have often called for more unpredictability in wide areas, particularly against deep defensive blocks where patience alone rarely unlocks space.
There is also something appealing about the timing. When elite clubs like Liverpool and Bayern Munich are watching a player but not yet ready to commit, that is often the moment for ambitious Premier League sides to move first. One fan might say, “If the biggest clubs are monitoring him, it usually means the talent is real.”
West Ham have shown before that smart recruitment from less glamorous leagues can pay off. The Danish Superliga has quietly produced players capable of adapting quickly to English football.
For supporters, the key question would revolve around opportunity. Could Osorio arrive and play regularly, or would he become another promising name rotating around the squad? If West Ham can offer him meaningful minutes and a clear development plan, the move begins to make sense.
In short, this is exactly the kind of transfer rumour that sparks curiosity. Not yet guaranteed, not yet dramatic, but full of potential if the club chooses to act decisively.
