Riquelme Fillipi signed paperwork on Monday to finalise his move from Palmeiras to Inter Miami. According to Globo.com, the transfer now awaits Major League Soccer administrative clearance.
The deal involves Palmeiras selling 60% of his rights for about US$ 5.5 million to US$ 6 million, roughly R$ 28.5 million to R$ 31.1 million.
He must still secure a visa to travel to the United States. His representatives, led by Diogo Silva, estimate about 10 days to complete the process before travelling with the 19-year-old forward.
On Sunday he was named in the squad for the draw with Mirassol while talks with the MLS club continued. A similar case occurred shortly before when Allan started against Santos in the Copa do Brasil while negotiating a move to Manchester City.
Riquelme joined Palmeiras in 2021 at under-15 level and rose through the ranks to make his senior debut in 2025, playing two games. In 2026 he featured nine times for the first team while alternating with the under-20s, registering two goals and one assist in 12 matches.
He has been among the least used by Abel Ferreira at senior level, so a transfer was considered once interest emerged.
