Chelsea ended his loan at Racing Strasbourg early and authorised a new move to aid his development, according to Fabrizio Romano. The deal was finalised on Tuesday night after Chelsea accepted River’s proposal, which the London club consider the best pathway for the player.

In parallel, Strasbourg will continue the development of Gessime Yassine, freeing a slot and accelerating the resolution of Páez’s next step.
