Rob Edwards backs Hugo Bueno after winning back Wolves place

Rob Edwards has praised Hugo Bueno for taking his chance in the Wolves side. According to ExpressAndStar.com, the head coach has been encouraged by the wing-back’s recent form.

Bueno was first choice under Vitor Pereira, then briefly lost his spot when Edwards arrived while managing injury issues that cost him a handful of games.

He regained the position from David Moller Wolfe and has kept it since, underlined by an impressive display against Newcastle.

Edwards said he thinks Bueno has been really good since coming in, while noting Wolfe has played a number of games and the staff have assessed almost everyone during recent fixtures.

The head coach added that he believes Bueno has been very consistent and has operated at a high level whenever selected.
