Rob Edwards expects Wolves to act in the transfer market before the window shuts, but says arrivals will only happen if they raise standards.

According to ExpressAndStar.com, the Premier League’s bottom club have not signed anyone yet, while Jorgen Strand Larsen, Emmanuel Agbadou and Joao Gomes are attracting interest.

The head coach said the priority is doing what suits the squad, not chasing deals for the sake of it.

He noted they would like to add a couple of players if they fit the group, stressing that unnecessary signings will be avoided.

With time still remaining in the window, he anticipates some business, provided the options available genuinely improve the team.
