RB Leipzig and Eintracht Braunschweig have agreed on an early termination of Robert Ramsak’s loan spell. The 19-year-old striker had been on loan at the second-division club since the summer, but only made four appearances as a substitute.
In order to give him more playing time, the forward will be loaned out again for the remainder of the season and will immediately join SV Sandhausen.
Ramsak moved from FC Bayern Munich to RB Leipzig in the summer of 2024 and was part of the Red Bulls’ U19 squad last season. Under head coach Sebastian Heidinger, he scored ten goals.
He has also represented Germany at every youth level from U16 to U19. In 2023, he won the European Championship title with the German U17 team and finished as the tournament’s top scorer with four goals. Just a few months later, he went on to win the U17 World Cup title, a tournament in which he scored twice.
Best of luck in Sandhausen, Robert!
