Olympique de Marseille have several key players returning ahead of their trip to OGC Nice on Friday evening in Ligue 1 , before Les Olympiens face Newcastle United in the UEFA Champions League next Tuesday. “We’ve worked well, we’ve got a few players back even though we’ve lost some too. Vermeeren has been with us since Monday, Aubameyang has only played one match and arrived earlier,” said OM boss Roberto De Zerbi at a press conference attended by Get French Football News. Defenders Facundo Medina and Nayef Aguerd will be missing the two games, with Michael Amir Murillo who suffered an injury whilst on international duty. “He’s an irreplaceable player, but we still have to play when he’s not there,” said De Zerbi on Aguerd – who is suffering from a pubalgia according to a medical press release from OM. “Balerdi is coming back, as is Kondogbia. Medina is still injured and Murillo picked up an injury while on international duty. Aguerd is a big loss. But we have to pick up points and play well even with these injuries.”GFFN | George Boxall – reporting from La Commanderie, Marseille.
