Roberto León joins Deportivo Madryn pre-season

Deportivo Madryn have added goalkeeper Roberto León as they shape their squad for the new Primera Nacional season, with the Argentine already training alongside his new team-mates.

According to SuperDepor.com, León arrives after completing his development at Racing Club de Avellaneda, where he featured for the Fourth Division and the Reserve.

He has yet to make an official top-flight debut, though he was regularly involved in first-team training, gaining experience at a leading Argentine club.

Before his spell with Racing, the goalkeeper came through the youth system at Sacachispas, where he began his path between the posts.

Born in Lomas de Zamora on 8 August 2001, León stands 1.86 metres tall.
