Robin Risser returns to Lens training early for Trophée des Champions

Robin Risser has brought forward his return to Lens training to be ready for the Trophée des Champions.

According to L'Équipe, the French goalkeeper joined Dino Toppmöller’s squad on Saturday, two days earlier than planned.

He had been due back on Monday but, with the club’s agreement, advanced his comeback by 48 hours.

Lens face PSG in the Trophée des Champions on Sunday 16 August at 20:45, the first domestic trophy on offer this season.

Risser was France’s third-choice goalkeeper at this summer’s World Cup in the United States.
