Robinho Jr used social media to call for calm and push back at online claims about his situation at Santos. The player said in a post that he is happy at the club, does not feel undervalued and does not plan to leave, asking to be left in peace.
Almost a month ago he signed a new contract to 31 March 2031. The extension followed brief run-outs under Cuca, entering against Remo at Vila Belmiro in the league and getting almost 30 minutes away to Deportivo Cuenca in the Sudamericana.
Since the Ecuador outing he has not featured again. A training disagreement with Neymar Jr in that period was resolved.
Earlier this year he appeared in five Paulistão rounds and came on in Santos’ league opener against Chapecoense. Across the senior side he has 23 games and one assist, with 2026 returns of two league and one Sudamericana appearances.
His previous deal ran to April 2027. Talks over a sporting plan dragged, he briefly trained with the under-20s and was slated to face Cruzeiro in the third round of the under-20 league but did not show, saying his agent had blocked it.
He registered an assist in a 3-1 friendly win over Desportiva Ferroviária before an official debut in a 1-0 victory over Flamengo on 16 July at Vila Belmiro. Born on 17 December 2007, he is known as Juninho, asked to be called Robinho Jr, and is the son of Robinho, who is imprisoned in Italy.
