Rodinei included as Santos name squad for Atlético-MG Sul-Americana quarter-final

Santos have named a 25-man squad to face Atlético-MG in the Sul-Americana quarter-final first leg, with right-back Rodinei a surprise inclusion.
The tie kicks off on Wednesday at 19:00 at Vila Belmiro. According to Diario Do Peixe, only 23 players can be listed on matchday, so two will be cut. The list features three goalkeepers, three centre-backs, five full-backs, 10 midfielders and four forwards.
Santos will be without centre-back Lucas Veríssimo, who is recovering from a sprain to his right ankle. Attacking midfielders Neymar, with a type 2B injury to the right rectus femoris, and Barreal, with a type 2A biceps femoris injury, are also out. Forward Rony is suspended after his third yellow card.
New signings are registered for the competition and can feature, with Rodinei the standout inclusion. Midfielders Lima and Arthur Melo debuted at the weekend in the Brasileiro and are eligible for the continental game.
