Rodri is said to have explained to Real Madrid why he chose Barcelona after both clubs pursued him this summer, according to As.
The Spain midfielder outlined three factors, the report said, favouring Barcelona’s style of play, valuing the imprint left by his former Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola, and feeling closer to the Barcelona squad. He is understood to have remained extremely respectful in talks with Real.
