Rodrigo Moreno has named his best XI of team-mates, selecting only one former Valencia player despite five memorable seasons at Mestalla.

The back four was Carvajal, Luisao, Ramos and Jordi Alba. Midfield featured Busquets, Parejo and Thiago.

Up front he chose Muniain, Isco and Diego Costa. Of those, only Dani Parejo represents Valencia.

Parejo, like Rodrigo, was central to the club’s return to Europe and the 2019 Copa del Rey triumph.

Rodrigo was a key figure in the last great Valencia side before the project was dismantled under Peter Lim. He now plays in Qatar with Lusail S. C.
