Rodrygo Goes will miss Real Madrid's trip to Mestalla after being diagnosed with tendinosis in his right hamstring. According to EFE, he is expected to be sidelined for about 10 days.

The issue was detected in medical tests after the forward skipped the last two training sessions with discomfort that did not ease.

He will also miss the Champions League knockout play-off first leg on 17 February through suspension. He was sent off in the 96th minute of the 4-2 defeat in Lisbon by Italian referee Davide Massa. UEFA's Ethics, Control and Disciplinary Committee handed him a two-match ban for insulting or using abusive language towards a referee.

With that timetable, the target is for him to be available for the trip to Osasuna on 21 February.

It is his second physical setback of 2026. After the Spanish Super Cup final defeat to Barcelona, 3-2, he missed three matches with physical issues and did not feature in another. Under Arbeloa, he has played only 36 minutes against Benfica, when he was dismissed, and 14 against Rayo Vallecano.
