Rodrygo’s potential departure from Real Madrid has become a major talking point this summer, as the Brazilian forward looks to redefine his career away from the increasingly crowded competition in the club’s attacking setup. With several top European sides expressing strong interest, the transfer race is heating up.
Premier League giants including Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester City, and Tottenham are actively monitoring Rodrygo’s situation. Liverpool have lined up the Madrid star as a contingency option should their pursuit of Alexander Isak fail. Arsenal, faced with challenges in securing Eberechi Eze, view Rodrygo as a viable alternative, but would need to offload one of their current left-wingers before making a move. Tottenham see him as an ideal replacement should Son Heung-min leave and have already reached out to his representatives, as per Caughtoffside.
Under the guidance of Xabi Alonso, Rodrygo’s role at Real Madrid has diminished, though the manager still places trust in him. Nevertheless, the club are open to selling him if a financially suitable offer arrives. According to the report, Real Madrid are asking for a minimum of €90 million, with some sources suggesting the price could reach €100 million. Any bid meeting this valuation would likely be accepted.
Pep Guardiola’s admiration for Rodrygo has resurfaced at Manchester City. The club, having previously attempted to sign him, are actively exploring his availability again. Rodrygo has even been discussed as part of a possible swap for Rodrigo Hernández, although City appear reluctant to move forward with such a proposal.

Manchester United and Chelsea remain on the sidelines, as Rodrygo does not prioritise either destination. For United in particular, Old Trafford is not seen as a compelling option by the player.
Offers are also understood to have also come from Saudi Arabia, notably from Al-Nassr. However, Rodrygo’s preference remains to stay in Europe as he shapes his long-term career plans. His departure hinges on two critical factors: the player must explicitly express his desire to leave and interested clubs must table an offer of at least €100 million.
