Rollheiser misses training and could be out of Santos v Vitória | OneFootball

According to Globo.com, Rollheiser missed Wednesday’s training and could again be absent when Santos face Vitória on Saturday at 20:00 Brasília time at Vila Belmiro in the Campeonato Brasileiro.

The Argentine was left out of Tuesday’s game against Deportivo Cuenca due to muscular problems and carried out only physiotherapy work inside the Santos training centre.

Midfielders Gabriel Menino and Oliva and forward Thaciano also remained under the care of physiotherapists.

Players who featured for more than 45 minutes in the 3-0 win over the Ecuadorians stayed in the gym for recovery.

The reserves and those not selected went out for technical then tactical drills under Cuca.

Santos have 18 points and currently occupy the first spot in the relegation zone. A positive result against Vitória could move them out of the drop zone and offer calm during the World Cup break.
