Roma and Milan are weighing a January loan move for Real Madrid forward Endrick, according to Football Italia. The 20-year-old has been short of minutes in Spain.

Both clubs made approaches in the summer. Their initial push followed Madrid’s successful call to send Franco Mastantuono to Fiorentina, but a switch for Endrick did not materialise.

Brazil head coach Carlo Ancelotti has criticised the scarcity of opportunities for young Brazilians in Europe, citing Endrick and Estevao. He argued they need regular football to develop and said Endrick will be important for Brazil in future.

Despite assurances from Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho that Endrick would feature prominently, he has played only four minutes this season, a cameo in a 3-2 win over Elche. He has been unused in three matches and missed four through injury.

A loan stint at Lyon in January 2026 brought eight goals and eight assists in 21 appearances. With first-team football the priority, Roma and Milan are preparing fresh January proposals in the hope Madrid approve a mid-season departure.
