Roma competing with Hull City for Frosinone’s Giorgio Kvernadze | OneFootball

Frosinone have caught many by surprise in the Serie A this season, as they find themselves inside the top six. Attacker Giorgi Kvernadze has caught specific attention, having found the net three times already in the season.

Now, the Georgia international is already attracting interest from bigger clubs.

Corriere dello Sport report that Roma were desperate for another attacking signing in the summer. They pursued moves for several players for that role but nothing really materialised.

They are expected to push for a player in that position once again in the summer and Frosinone’s Kvernardze is attracting specific attention. He is believed to be a fit for Gian Piero Gasperini’s system, with the player valued at atleast over €20 million, having joined Frosinone for just around €1 million.

Roma are evaluating a move and have done exploratory research about the player too. Apart from Kvernadze’s ability, he is also seen as someone who is sustainable as a target and offers quite a bit of room for growth.

Hull City have also enquired about the attacker and Roma are hoping his value doesn’t escalate further. It will only help in executing a favourable January move.
