Roma ‘consider’ Sunderland’s Adingra as Brighton ‘join’ Bardghji chase | OneFootball

VoceGialloRossa reports that Roma are considering a move for Sunderland winger Simon Adingra. The Serie A club are weighing options to strengthen their wide areas, with Paris Saint-Germain prospect Ibrahim Mbaye among those also being monitored, and Adingra is said to be admired within the Giallorossi hierarchy. Sunderland are understood to value the Ivory Coast international at around £30m, which would deliver roughly £9m profit if Roma meet the asking price.

Sport claims Brighton have joined Sunderland and Leeds in the race for Barcelona winger Roony Bardghji. The outlet adds Barcelona could sanction a deal that includes a buyback clause, while the 20-year-old is said to prefer a loan to prove his worth before returning to Catalonia.

Adingra joined the Black Cats last summer after leaving Brighton and Hove Albion, scoring one goal and supplying one assist in 15 appearances in all competitions. He then moved to Ligue 1 side Monaco on loan for the second half of the season, and his future on Wearside remains uncertain.

Bardghji arrived at Barcelona from FC Copenhagen last summer and registered two goals and four assists across 28 appearances. Only 10 of those came as starts under Hansi Flick, and the signings of Anthony Gordon and Karim Adeyemi appear to have further limited his prospects heading into a second season.

After missing out on Mason Greenwood and Crysencio Summerville, Roma are said to have Nusa at the top of their list.
