Roma in talks to sign Chelsea’s Axel Disasi | OneFootball

AS Roma have opened talks to sign Chelsea defender Axel Disasi (27), according to a report from RMC Sport journalist Fabrice Hawkins. 

Former AS Monaco defender Disasi has fallen out of favour at Stamford Bridge. The Frenchman was left out of the club’s UEFA Champions League squad and he has yet to make a first-team appearance this season. Chelsea had already been keen to offload Disasi in the summer, but no club could meet their terms, following the defender’s loan spell at Aston Villa last season. 

He has even been training away from the first team and has featured with the club’s reserve side this season. Once again, Chelsea will look to offload the player this January. Roma are now showing an interest, as per Hawkins, and have opened talks. The centre-back is keen on a move to the Italian capital and Gian Piero Gasperini is a fan of the player’s profile.
