Roma ‘make improved offer’ for Stuttgart winger Leweling | OneFootball

Roma have returned with an improved offer for Stuttgart winger Jamie Leweling, with the player now open to the move, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.

The switch had looked off after Sky Germany reported that Leweling rejected Roma’s initial interest.

The clubs are now working towards an agreement, with Roma prepared to pay €30 million plus a further €5 million in bonuses, the report said.

Leweling trained as normal on Tuesday morning before being called to the club’s headquarters, and there is a race against time to complete the deal before the deadline, the report added.

Sky Germany also reported that Everton offered as much as €43 million including bonuses on Monday night, which Leweling turned down.
