La Liga continues to churn out talented players who are catching the eye of several European clubs.

Roma has set its sights on Mallorca’s young winger Jan Virgli, a product of Barcelona’s youth system.

In his first full experience in Europe’s top flight, the 2006-born player has scored two goals and four assists in 1,832 minutes, playing primarily as a left winger.

His team has been relegated to La Liga 2, but the talented youngster is destined to leave the Rossoneri.

As Matteo Moretto reported on Radio Marca, the player has ended up on the radar of Celta and Benfica, as well as on the long list of names considered by Trigoria to enhance Gian Piero Gasperini’s attacking options.

Moretto has ruled Real Betis out of the race for Virgili, despite the Biancoverdi being considered the favorites in their home country for the 2006-born player. Now all that remains is to wait and see if Roma decides to make the move.

In any case, however, it’s not a priority. The Roman club will focus first on contract renewals and then settle their UEFA accounts through transfers.

Only later will they consider signings, but Mason Greenwood remains the first name on the list. All other options, at least for now, have been shelved and will be discussed only at a later date.
