Reports in Italy claim that Roma already have an agreement on personal terms in place with Marseille forward Mason Greenwood, and now the Giallorossi are ready to submit their first formal offer to the Ligue 1 side.
The Giallorossi have been linked with a move for the controversial former Manchester United striker for much of the summer, and according to reports from various outlets on Saturday, already have an agreement on personal terms in place with the 24-year-old.
According to Calciomercato.com, there is already an agreement over a five-year contract worth around €4.5m in guaranteed salary per season between Roma and the player’s representatives. That €4.5m figure would likely increase over the years and be bumped up by performance-related bonuses.

Now, according to reports from the likes of Gianluca Di Marzio and Sky Sport Italia, Roma are readying a first formal offer to Marseille for Greenwood. Reports elsewhere claim that the Giallorossi are prepared to bid €45m including bonuses and a sell-on clause for the Englishman.
It is believed that Marseille will request a fee of €55m, meaning a difference in valuations of around €10m, but Calciomercato insists that the two clubs will be able to find a meeting ground somewhere in the middle.
