This year, the Friedkins have decided to make a noble and concrete gesture, forgoing the traditional, exclusive, five-star Christmas party that clubs organize every year for their employees and special guests.

Instead of spending hundreds of thousands of euros on lights, buffets, and luxury venues, Roma’s owners have decided to donate their entire Christmas budget to three important charities.

As reported by Corriere dello Sport, Roma has chosen to allocate the money to three causes that help those most in need, particularly children and families in need.

The beneficiary organizations are the Bambino Gesù Hospital, one of the most important pediatric healthcare facilities in Italy; Telethon, which has been committed to raising funds for scientific research into rare genetic diseases for years; and the Andrea Tudisco Association, which provides support to children with serious illnesses and their families.
