Gian Piero Gasperini is seeking reinforcements for next season.
Priority is given to attack, without neglecting other positions, starting with the defense, which could be subject to changes with Ndicka on the altar of capital gains and Ziolkowski leaving by June 30th.
This is why the Giallorossi have sent two emissaries to follow River Plate central defender Lautaro Rivero in person.
Born in 2003, he made his debut for the Argentina national team and has already played alongside Messi and his teammates.
Roma is closely monitoring Lautaro Rivero’s performances.
As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the club has sent two representatives to initiate discussions with River Plate.
The player has a €100 million release clause, but in South America, these clauses are often used only to scare off competition.
The Giallorossi are ready to offer €20 million: a way to secure one of Argentina’s top talents.
Roma will be able to evaluate offers for Ndicka and Ziolkowski and decide who to sell based on the offers they receive.
