TMW reports Roma are ready to end Kostas Tsimikas’ loan and send him back to Liverpool, with Fiorentina’s Niccolò Fortini a possible replacement.
Sky Sport Italia said last week that a return to Anfield is likely if Roma bring in a new left wing-back this month.
Fortini is likely Roma’s main target on that flank. TMW says Fiorentina rejected an opening €8m bid from the capital, with the asking price at €15m. Juventus are also keen and it has been reported he will not extend a contract running to June 2027.
Roma have already strengthened in attack with Robinio Vaz from Olympique Marseille and Donyell Malen from Aston Villa, so attention has shifted to other areas.
Tsimikas has played 600 minutes across all competitions, making 15 appearances. The 29-year-old has struggled for minutes despite Angelino’s prolonged absence, after the Spaniard was diagnosed with asthmatic bronchitis in October and has not returned since.
