Romain Del Castillo leaves Brest to join Osasuna on two-year deal | OneFootball

Romain Del Castillo has left Brest to join La Liga side Osasuna, completing his move on Monday and ending five seasons in Brittany.

According to L'Équipe, the 30-year-old has signed a two-year contract with an optional extra year. Brest will receive €1 million plus up to €450,000 in bonuses, with a 15% share of profit on any future resale.

An OL academy graduate, Del Castillo helped deliver a highly successful 2023-24, when Brest finished third in Ligue 1, then featured in the club’s Champions League campaign the following season.

He made 151 appearances for Brest, scoring 30 goals and providing 31 assists.

This season he started the opening two Ligue 1 matches, finding the net against Le Mans in a 2-2 draw.
