Romain Faivre ‘to stay’ at Auxerre on loan for 2026-27

An agreement has been reached for Romain Faivre to return to Auxerre on loan for 2026-27.

Onze Mondial reports that all parties have settled on a fresh temporary move.

The 27-year-old joined Auxerre from Bournemouth on loan last winter and featured in 10 Ligue 1 matches, providing two assists.

His impact convinced the hierarchy, in particular sporting director David Wantier, to pursue another loan.

However, the plan could be complicated if Baptiste Malherbe persuades owner James Zhou to keep Christophe Pelissier, who was dismissed last week.
