Roman Iaremtchouk gives Lyon the focal point they lacked

Roman Iaremtchouk has been named in Lyon’s squad to face Nice, adding a different option up front. According to Le Progres, the Ukrainian forward brings an atypical profile.

He arrives on loan from Olympiakos for one point five million euros.

At one point nine one metres, the centre-forward cuts an imposing figure. His inclusion is no accident.

In a side rich in lively attackers, Lyon have opted for a true focal point. He is not an all-purpose forward in the mould of Endrick, Afonso Moreira or Malick Fofana.

The move breaks with recent tradition, and that was precisely the aim.
