Chelsea’s plans for the Mykhailo Mudryk are becoming clear as the Blues look to rehabilitate his career after a doping ban.

One of the most stunning moments of this summer at Chelsea so far was the announcement that Mykhailo Mudryk had had his doping ban reduced (after 18 months out of the game), and would be available immediately for selection.

He’s featured in some of our preseason friendlies, but the long term plan has to be to get him playing regularly again after so long without even being able to train with teammates. Fabrizio Romano has just dropped in with an update on Chelsea’s plans for the winger.

Romano writes that one of the main options Chelsea have is sending Mudryk on loan.

“Italian clubs as well as Strasbourg are options” the transfer insider claims, as well as pointing out that Mudryk’s preference is a loan to a Premier League club.

Naturally the suggestion of sending him to Frank Lampard’s Coventry is now bound to come up – and might be a smart move. Wherever he goes, the priority has to be playing time.

Myles Lewis-Skelly is going to struggle for game time at Arsenal this season, and one rumour has claimed that he’s been offered to Chelsea and Manchester United as a transfer.

Chelsea are back in the UK and Xabi Alonso is soon going to take his first training session with the whole squad present.
