Romelu Lukaku is on his way to Fenerbahce, which could open the door for Arsenal to sell one of their fringe players.

The Belgian striker will join the Turkish club after Napoli agreed to sell him for around £5.1 million (€6m), according to Fabrizio Romano.

The 33-year-old joined Napoli from Chelsea for £25.2 million (€30m) in 2024, scoring 14 Serie A goals to fire I Partenopei to the Scudetto. He was limited to just five league appearances off the bench last season, however, after suffering a thigh injury.

With Lukaku departing, Italian outfit must find a replacement up front before the new season gets underway, which is where Arsenal comes in.

Napoli hold an interest in Gabriel Jesus, according to Sky Italia, though it is said they need to sell two players before signing a new one.

The Brazilian forward has entered the final 12 months of his current deal with Arsenal, who are seeking between £18 million and £20 million for the player.

Jesus joined Arsenal from Manchester City on a five-year contract for a transfer fee of £45 million in 2022. He has scored 21 goals and provided 11 assists in the Premier League over the past four seasons, and helped the club win the title last term.

But the past two years of his career have been heavily disrupted by injuries, limiting him to just nine league starts over that period.
