In Série B this was his 15th goal involvement, moving him third outright. He now has six goals and nine assists, behind teammate Robson and CRB forward Mikael on 17.

Across the season he has 12 goals and 12 assists in 37 games. After hitting 11 in 51 matches in 2023, Palmeiras signed him for 2024 for R$ 7.4 million for 70% of his rights. He was loaned back in July 2025 and had endured a run of 53 games without scoring, from March 2024 to November 2025.

Rômulo is now Novorizontino’s second-highest scorer, behind Guilherme Queiroz, and the club’s record holder for goal involvements. Across his two spells he has 59 goal involvements, 32 goals and 27 assists, in 160 appearances. He also ranks third for games played, trailing Cléo Silva and Reverson.

The victory lifts Tigre do Vale to 43 points and third in Série B. Rômulo and Novorizontino host Avaí next Saturday at 16:00 at Estádio Jorjão in Novo Horizonte.
