Roony Bardghji ‘to be loaned’ by Barcelona

According to Fabrizio Romano, Roony Bardghji is set to leave Barcelona on loan in the final weeks of this month as he seeks more minutes.

The 20-year-old Swedish winger has agreed with the club to explore a temporary move, having been largely an understudy to Lamine Yamal.

Barcelona intend to keep future control of Bardghji, reflecting continued belief in the talent they signed from Copenhagen a year ago.

In his debut season he made 27 appearances, scoring two goals and supplying four assists, and lifted La Liga and the Spanish Super Cup.

Bardghji was on Porto’s radar a year ago and was linked with Sporting this summer, though without developments.
