Kickoff is not far away at the Parc des Princes, and Liam Rosenior has just had a chat with TNT Sports.

They were trying to ask whether his games as Strasbourg manager would help him in this tie, but he minimised that as a factor.

Rosenior on the effects of facing PSG in the past

“The context is completely different. Different competition, different players,” Rosenior said.

What he was really focused on was not letting his players get too taken by the occasion. If there’s anything he learned at Strasbourg it was that anyone can beat PSG if you get things right. There’s nothing to be afraid of.

“We need to be really brave and fearless in our performance if we want to go through tonight… That’s what it’s all about. If you want to go far in this competition you need to go and beat the best teams in Europe. That’s why we’re in it,” Rosenior said defiantly.

‘We know they have strengths, but I’m sure that Luis Enrique and his staff will know about out strengths as well.”

It will be evident from very early in this game whether the manager has got his players believing they can go out and win this.
