Manchester United legend Roy Keane has this weekend moved to reveal his massive appreciation for the talents of Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham.
This comes fresh off the latter’s latest standout performance in the colours of Thomas Tuchel’s England. Bellingham was in from the off once again on Saturday, as the Three Lions made the trip to Croatia for a Nations League clash.
And en route to an eventual 7-0 triumph for he and his fellow countrymen, the 23-year-old was in unstoppable form. Across the 90 minutes, Bellingham was responsible for direct goal contributions (1G,3A).
This showing kept alive what has been a spectacular long-term stretch of form on the part of the former Borussia Dortmund talent. Dating back to the summer, Bellingham proved himself one of the very best players at the World Cup, racking up seven goals en route to England’s elimination at the semi-final stage.
Such excellence has since been continued back on the books of Real Madrid, as the all-action midfielder continues to prove his doubters very much wrong.
And as alluded to above, this weekend, Bellingham’s exploits have earned him some major praise on the part of one of the game’s most hard-to-please pundits. Speaking during an appearance on ITV in the aftermath of England’s dominant win over Croatia, Roy Keane revealed his take that:
”Jude Bellingham could go on to become one of the greatest players of all time.”
