Rubén García and Raúl ruled out for Real Sociedad trip | OneFootball

Osasuna visit Real Sociedad on Sunday, and Lisci will be without at least three players, with Rubén García and Raúl joining injured Iker Benito on the sidelines.

According to AS, the squad are resting today and will return to training tomorrow to start preparations for the trip.

Both García and Raúl are suspended. The Valencian collected his fifth yellow card against Mallorca and must sit out. Raúl was shown a straight red against the Balearic side minutes after coming on for a heavy challenge on Samu Costa.

Raúl is rarely in Lisci’s starting XI, yet he is often used in the closing stages. Rubén García had been starting regularly, so his absence leaves a gap to fill.

The logical option would be for Moro to come into the XI in García’s place. From there it remains to be seen how the Italian coach fits Moro, Víctor and Aimar together, with several combinations possible.
