According to A Bola, Benfica, led by Rui Costa, are tracking Botafogo forward Samuel Alves, with Braga also in the frame.
The 17-year-old has caught the eye in the Copinha, producing three goals and one assist across three outings.

Alves has impressed for Botafogo’s under-20s in matches against Taubaté, São José and Juventude.
Scouting teams from both clubs have been monitoring his progress. Any transfer is only likely in the summer window, as he does not turn 18 until 30 March.
Alves began his youth career at Flamengo before moving to Botafogo. This season in the Fogão youth ranks he has 21 goals and nine assists.
