Rui Costa ‘to seek’ more than €30m from Milan for Benfica regular | OneFootball

According to Glorioso 1904, Milan have added Benfica winger Andreas Schjelderup to their shortlist after his strong finish to the season, and any exit would require more than €30m.

The Serie A club are expected to delay concrete steps until their new hierarchy and sporting director are in place.

Schjelderup is under contract until 2028 and has a €100m release clause. Barcelona and Como are also monitoring the 21-year-old.

The Norway international turned his campaign around after a difficult start. He was close to joining Club Brugge, then convinced José Mourinho and became an influential part of Benfica’s set-up.

This season he has played 42 matches for Benfica, 27 in Liga Portugal Betclic, 10 in the Champions League, four in the Taça de Portugal and one in the Taça da Liga. Across 2,464 minutes he has 10 goals and six assists, and he is valued at €20m.
